A bright new force on the modern dance scene, Camille A. Brown has already choreographed works for Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, The Philadelphia Dance Company (Philadanco), Urban Bush Women, Ballet Memphis and Hubbard Street II, to name just a few.  Her own dance company performs at NYC’s renowned Joyce Theater, and has been featured at many national and international dance venues, such as Jacob’s Pillow, the Brooklyn Academy of Music, Central Park’s Summerstage, and the Juilliard Theater. The company has received rave reviews from the press, with the New York Times calling its work “magisterial...a tour de force.”

For her experience with 1000passions, Camille invites you for an intimate view of the creative and artistic process of dance. You’ll get to watch a working rehearsal of the company and see a choreography in process. She’ll also lead you in an exclusive and private class, helping you to explore your own potential for expression through movement (no dance experience necessary).
